Pinkishe Foundation, led by Anita Yadav, recently organized a menstrual hygiene literacy session and pad distribution drive in Daudpur, Greater Noida. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about menstrual health and provide essential resources to women in the community.
During the session, there were moments of shyness and laughter as women were asked about the biological differences between men and women regarding menstruation. Despite initial giggles, the discussion opened up opportunities to address common misconceptions and break down barriers surrounding menstrual health.
Through engaging conversations and informative presentations, women learned about the biological reasons behind menstruation and the importance of maintaining proper menstrual hygiene. The session provided a safe and supportive space for women to ask questions and share their experiences, fostering a sense of empowerment and understanding.
As part of our dedication to menstrual health education, we provided sanitary pads to all participants. This not only ensured access to essential menstrual products but also underscored our commitment to supporting women's health and well-being within the community.
