Community Empowerment with Menstrual Health Awareness in Bhogpur Village

On February 5, 2025, Pinkishe Foundation organized a Menstrual Health & Hygiene Education Camp and Free Sanitary Pad Distribution at Bhogpur Village, Greater Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The event aimed to educate women and girls about menstrual health while providing essential hygiene resources.

Strengthening Menstrual Health Literacy in Rural Communities

During the session, participants learned about the menstrual cycle, personal hygiene practices, and the importance of using sanitary products. The camp addressed myths and misconceptions, empowering women and young girls to manage their menstrual health with confidence. The focus was on practical knowledge and encouraging open conversations about menstruation.

Supporting Hygiene Access through Free Sanitary Pad Distribution

A vital part of the event was the free distribution of sanitary pads, helping attendees overcome challenges in accessing hygiene products. By making sanitary essentials available, Pinkishe Foundation is committed to promoting menstrual hygiene and reducing health risks related to inadequate menstrual care.

Fostering a Safe Space for Open Discussions on Menstrual Health

The camp also aimed to create a supportive environment where women and girls could discuss menstruation without stigma. By fostering open dialogues, the event worked towards normalizing menstrual health conversations, helping build a more inclusive and aware community.
