Incholi, Meerut

Pinkishe Foundation recently conducted a menstrual hygiene literacy session and pads distribution drive at Sharpen Public School, Incholi. The event, led by the dedicated Rajrani Sharma and Ritu Rajvanshi, was a significant step towards educating young girls about menstrual health and hygiene.

The students at Sharpen Public School were eager and enthusiastic to learn about menstruation. Rajrani and Ritu engaged the girls in detailed discussions, addressing their curiosity and answering various questions. Topics included the importance of menstruation and the biological reasons behind why only females experience it. These open conversations helped dispel myths and provided the girls with a clear understanding of menstrual health.

The session emphasized the importance of maintaining hygiene during periods, and practical advice was given on how to manage menstrual health effectively. The girls were encouraged to ask questions, making the session interactive and informative.

In addition to the educational component, sanitary pads were distributed to all the attendees, ensuring that the girls have access to necessary hygiene products. This initiative by Pinkishe Foundation aims to empower young girls with the knowledge and resources they need to manage their periods confidently.
