Greater Noida

Through Project Sankalp, Pinkishe Foundation, in partnership with NPCL, has achieved significant progress in menstrual hygiene education by conducting 100 sessions in villages around Greater Noida. These initiatives have educated and empowered over 5000 girls and women, greatly enhancing their understanding and management of menstrual health.

Furthermore, we have adopted seven local schools, pledging to supply free sanitary pads to ensure that students have continuous access to essential menstrual hygiene products.

In a related effort, a menstrual hygiene literacy camp and free pads donation drive were held in Greater Noida, spearheaded by the dedicated Anita Yadav and Rajrani Sharma. This camp included thorough presentations detailing the biological aspects of menstruation and underscoring the vital importance of maintaining menstrual hygiene. The sessions provided crucial information while also dispelling common myths and taboos associated with menstruation.

As part of this initiative, sanitary pads were distributed to all the girls attending the session, ensuring they have the necessary resources to manage their periods safely and comfortably.
