Pinkishe Foundation is delighted to share the success of our recent menstrual hygiene literacy session and pad distribution drive conducted by our dedicated Pune team. This initiative aimed to educate and empower girls about menstrual health while addressing common misconceptions.
During the session, one particularly enlightening moment occurred when the girls were asked about the number of uterus openings. Like many other groups, most girls answered either one or two, expressing shock when they learned the correct answer. This highlighted the importance of providing accurate information about female anatomy and menstrual health.
The conversation was filled with enthusiasm and curiosity as the girls actively participated in discussions about menstrual hygiene practices. Our Pune team facilitated an open and supportive environment where girls felt comfortable sharing their experiences and asking questions.
In line with our dedication to educating about menstrual health, we provided sanitary pads to all attendees. This effort aimed to guarantee access to vital menstrual products, thereby advocating hygiene and well-being.
