Dabra, Greater Noida

Under Project Sankalp, Pinkishe Foundation in collaboration with NPCL, has made remarkable strides in menstrual hygiene education, conducting 100 sessions across villages in Greater Noida. These efforts have reached and educated over 5000 girls and women, significantly impacting their understanding and management of menstrual health.

In addition to these educational sessions, we have adopted seven schools in the area, committing to provide free sanitary pads to ensure that students have consistent access to necessary menstrual hygiene products.

Under the same, menstrual hygiene literacy camp and free pads donation drive were conducted in Greater Noida, led by the dedicated Anita Yadav and Rajrani Sharma. This camp featured comprehensive presentations that explored the biological processes involved in menstruation and emphasized the critical importance of maintaining menstrual hygiene. The session not only provided valuable information but also addressed common misconceptions and taboos surrounding menstruation.

As part of the initiative, sanitary pads were distributed to all the girls attending the session, ensuring they have the resources needed to manage their periods safely and comfortably.
