Government School, Roop Nagar

Pinkishe Foundation, in collaboration with Ehsaas for Humanity, recently conducted a menstrual hygiene literacy session and pads distribution drive. The enthusiasm and dedication of the college students involved were truly inspiring, fueling our commitment to eradicating period poverty with renewed vigor.

These passionate students took the initiative to educate 400 young girls who have recently started menstruating or are about to begin. They provided comprehensive information, addressing not only the basics of menstrual health but also debunking traditional myths that often cloud understanding.

Through interactive discussions, the girls' doubts were cleared, and they gained a clearer, more accurate perspective on menstruation. This knowledge empowers them to manage their periods with confidence and dignity, breaking free from the misconceptions that have long been part of their lives.

To support these young girls further, sanitary pads were distributed, ensuring they have the necessary resources to maintain proper menstrual hygiene.
