Pinkishe Foundation recently organized a transformative menstrual hygiene literacy session and reusable pad distribution drive at Government Girls Inter College in Kathgodam, Nainital. This initiative, led by Upasana Tulera, aimed to empower students with sustainable menstrual hygiene solutions while fostering open discussions about female anatomy and health.
During the session, students were introduced to reusable sanitary kits, including cloth pads, as sustainable alternatives to disposable menstrual products. Many students expressed curiosity and interest in exploring these eco-friendly options, recognizing the benefits of reducing waste and promoting environmental sustainability.
The session also provided a platform for students to ask questions and discuss various aspects of the female body and its different stages. From puberty to menopause, students engaged in meaningful conversations, gaining valuable insights into their reproductive health and well-being.
As part of our commitment to promoting menstrual health education and sustainability, reusable sanitary kits were distributed to all participants. This initiative not only provided access to essential menstrual products but also encouraged students to embrace eco-conscious practices and take ownership of their menstrual health.
