Pinkishe Foundation, led by Baijanti Sinha, recently organized a transformative menstrual hygiene literacy session and pad distribution drive in Vasundara Enclave,
Delhi. The focus was on promoting sustainable menstrual health practices and empowering women with reusable cloth pads.
During the session, attendees were intrigued by the introduction of reusable cloth pads. Many of them had previously used cloth as a menstrual product but expressed discomfort and fear of leakage. However, upon learning about our reusable cloth pads, they expressed eagerness to try them out.
The session provided a platform for open discussions and shared experiences, fostering a supportive environment where women felt empowered to explore alternative menstrual hygiene options. This initiative not only promoted eco-friendly practices but also addressed concerns about comfort and effectiveness.
As part of our commitment to menstrual health education, reusable cloth pads were distributed to all participants. This initiative aimed to provide women with a sustainable and reliable menstrual hygiene solution while reducing environmental impact.
