Ghodadongari, Betul

Pinkishe Foundation, led by Tripti Dwivedi, recently organized a menstrual hygiene literacy session and reusable cloth pad distribution drive at Anganwadi Kendra Dharakho in Ghodadongari, Betul. This initiative aimed to empower girls with essential knowledge about menstrual health and provide them with sustainable menstrual hygiene solutions.

During the session, the girls were introduced to reusable cloth pads, which sparked excitement and amazement. They eagerly expressed their interest in using this eco-friendly alternative to disposable menstrual products. This introduction marked a significant step towards promoting sustainable menstrual hygiene practices in the community.

The discussion then shifted to the topic of sanitary products used by the girls and how they dispose of them. This part of the conversation shed light on the importance of proper menstrual waste management and encouraged girls to consider more environmentally friendly options.

As part of our commitment to menstrual health education, sanitary pads were distributed to all participants. This initiative aimed to ensure that girls have access to essential menstrual products while promoting environmental consciousness.

Let's continue to empower girls with the knowledge and resources they need to manage their menstrual health confidently and sustainably. Join us in our mission to promote menstrual hygiene awareness and empower girls everywhere.
