Pinkishe Foundation, under the guidance of Baijanti Sinha, recently organized an insightful menstrual hygiene literacy session and pad distribution drive in Ghazipur Slum. The session delved into the journey of a girl transitioning into womanhood, sparking meaningful conversations about this significant transformation.
Throughout the session, attendees engaged in discussions exploring the various aspects of this transition, from physical changes to emotional growth. The session provided a safe and supportive space for women to share their experiences and learn from one another, fostering a sense of solidarity and empowerment.
One particularly noteworthy outcome of the session was the acceptance and embrace of cloth pads as a sustainable menstrual hygiene option. Participants discussed the importance of using cloth pads in a hygienic manner, recognizing their effectiveness and eco-friendly benefits.
As a testament to our dedication to menstrual health education, we ensured that all participants received reusable cloth pads. This initiative aimed to equip women with a dependable and environmentally conscious solution for managing their menstrual hygiene needs.
