Pinkishe Foundation, with the support of the Indian Army, recently organized a menstrual hygiene literacy session and pad distribution drive at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Siang, Arunachal Pradesh. Despite being conducted online, the session captivated the interest of all students.

Students actively participated in the session, posing questions about various aspects of menstrual health, including managing period cramps and understanding the significance of white discharge. The interactive nature of the session fostered a supportive environment, encouraging open dialogue and knowledge-sharing. Another interesting fact that caught the student's attention was when they were told that uterus is equivalent to the size of our fist.

As part of our commitment to menstrual health education, sanitary pads were distributed to all participants, ensuring access to essential menstrual products. The support of the Indian Army was instrumental in making this initiative a success, highlighting their dedication to community welfare.

We commend the students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Siang, for their enthusiastic participation and engagement during the online session. Together, let's continue to educate, empower, and uplift students everywhere.
