On September 12, 2024, at Patshala MV School, we will offer a menstrual health session. The event will include workshops, resource distribution, and community building to support girls’ health and empowerment.
Date: September 12, 2024
Time: 11:00 AM
Location: Patshala MV School, Assam
Organizer: Garima Sarma
This session is designed to provide interactive and practical knowledge about menstrual health. It will engage participants in hands-on workshops covering essential topics such as menstrual cycles, hygiene practices, and managing menstrual discomfort. The event will create an open, supportive space for discussions, offering personalized advice on both basic and advanced menstrual health topics. Aligned with Pinkishe Foundation's mission, the event focuses on women's rights and social welfare by addressing menstrual health and period poverty, supporting broader goals of gender equality and empowerment.
In addition to education, we will address this by providing a variety of menstrual products, including reusable pads. Demonstrations will be given on their usage, promoting sustainable menstrual hygiene solutions and supporting long-term health management.
This event will also bring together local leaders and advocates to foster collaboration on women’s health issues. Attendees will have the opportunity to share experiences and challenges, building stronger support networks for community well-being.
This initiative reflects our collective commitment to advancing menstrual health, creating meaningful social impact, and empowering women and girls.
