We are pleased to announce an upcoming menstrual health and hygiene workshop set for September 1, 2024. Organized by the NSS (National Service Scheme) team from Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology in partnership with the Pinkishe Foundation.
This event will be held at the Kanhaiya Nagar Slum. The workshop is designed to provide essential support and education to 50 participants on key aspects of menstrual health and hygiene.
This comprehensive workshop will provide valuable education on various aspects of menstrual health and hygiene, including:
* Understanding menstrual cycles
* Best practices for menstrual hygiene
* Addressing common health issues related to menstruation
* Strategies for managing menstrual symptoms
* Dispelling myths and reducing stigma surrounding menstruation.
In addition to the educational component, the event will feature free menstrual pad donation. We will distribute menstrual pads with sensitivity and care to ensure that all attendees receive the necessary hygiene products.
