On 26th September 2024, the Meher Roshni Foundation, with the support of Pinkishe Foundation, will conduct a Menstrual Health & Hygiene Education Camp at the MRF Life Skills Academy, located in the Basement-1 of the Bombay Cocktail Bar Building, Off Veera Desai Road, Fun Republic Lane, near Yashraj Studios, Andheri West. This initiative aims to empower young girls with essential knowledge about menstrual health and hygiene.
The team from Meher Roshni Foundation, in collaboration with Pinkishe Foundation, will conduct an engaging session focused on educating girls about the physiological and emotional aspects of menstruation. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in interactive discussions, ask questions, and dispel common myths surrounding menstruation. The goal is to create a supportive environment that encourages openness and understanding.
In addition to the educational component, the camp will include a free sanitary pad distribution to all participants. This initiative underscores Pinkishe Foundation's commitment to ensuring that young girls have access to essential hygiene products, promoting both their health and dignity.
We invite all young girls and their guardians in the Andheri West area to participate in this empowering event.
