On 19th September 2024, the UBA Cell of Sikkim Institute of Science and Technology (SIST), with the support of Pinkishe Foundation, will conduct a Menstrual Health & Hygiene Education Session at the Seminar Hall, Sikkim. This event aims to educate young women about crucial aspects of menstrual health and hygiene.
The session will focus on empowering attendees with knowledge about menstrual cycles, proper hygiene practices, and the significance of understanding one’s body. Led by experienced facilitators, the session will encourage active participation, allowing girls to ask questions and share their thoughts in a supportive environment.
Through this educational initiative, Pinkishe Foundation seeks to promote open conversations about menstruation and dismantle the stigma surrounding it. By fostering awareness, we aim to ensure that young women feel comfortable discussing their menstrual health, paving the way for informed and confident individuals.
In addition to the educational component, Pinkishe Foundation will distribute free sanitary pads to all participants following the session. This effort underscores our commitment to ensuring that every girl has access to necessary menstrual hygiene products, empowering them to manage their periods with confidence.
Join us in this important initiative as we strive to create a healthier, more informed future for young women. Together, we can break barriers and promote menstrual health education across communities.
