A Collaborative Effort for Menstrual Hygiene Awareness

We are delighted to announce a significant milestone where Pinkishe Foundation partnered with Tata Consulting Engineers (TCE), a part of Tata Group—India's most respected group. TCE is a 100 percent subsidiary of Tata Sons Limited, known for its commitment to social responsibility. This collaboration was a part of Tata Volunteering Month, celebrated every year in March and September.

Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Session and Pad Distribution

On 29th March, Pinkishe Foundation, in association with Tata Consulting Engineers, organized a Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Session and a free reusable sanitary pads camp. The event took place in a public park adjacent to Pearl Gateway Tower Society, Sector 44, Noida. This initiative aimed to educate women about menstrual health and provide them with sustainable menstrual products.

Encouraging Open Conversations

From Tata Consulting Engineers, Ms. Pratima Marwah, Ms. Sukhjeet Kaur, Ms. Komal, and Ms. Pallavi Singh were present at the event. They emphasized the importance of sharing knowledge about menstruation with family members, including daughters, sons, and husbands. This approach aims to break the taboo surrounding menstruation and foster an open, supportive environment for discussing menstrual health.

Providing Sustainable Menstrual Products

As part of this initiative, each beneficiary was given a pack of reusable cloth pads from Pinkishe. These pads not only provide a sustainable option for menstrual hygiene but also help reduce the environmental impact associated with disposable sanitary products. The distribution of these reusable pads ensures that women have access to safe and eco-friendly menstrual products.

A Step Towards Empowerment and Sustainability

This collaboration with Tata Consulting Engineers highlights our commitment to empowering women and promoting menstrual health education. By providing resources and fostering open conversations, we aim to create a more informed and supportive community. This event is a testament to the power of collaboration in driving social change and improving lives.
