March 2026
March 2026 marked the beginning of a significant new chapter for Pinkishe Foundation with the launch of Shaktishala — a CSR-supported initiative introduced in Dholpur in partnership with HDFC and BharatCares. Building upon the foundation laid through Project Nari Samman, the initiative reflects a strategic step toward strengthening district-level menstrual health systems for adolescent girls and communities.
Currently covering 35 schools across Dholpur, Shaktishala has been designed with a structured and scalable approach aimed at creating sustainable impact through long-term institutional engagement and community participation.
Shaktishala brings together menstrual health awareness sessions, sustainable access mechanisms, and IoT-enabled vending solutions to improve accessibility and menstrual well-being within school ecosystems. The initiative focuses on creating informed, safe, and supportive environments where adolescent girls can access both knowledge and essential menstrual hygiene resources with dignity and confidence.
By integrating technology-driven solutions alongside grassroots awareness efforts, the programme represents an important step toward building more responsive and sustainable menstrual health systems at the district level.
The launch of Shaktishala reflects the collective commitment of implementation partners, local stakeholders, educators, and field teams working together to create scalable and community-centred health interventions.
The initiative also highlights the growing importance of partnerships in driving sustainable social impact and strengthening access to menstrual health support within underserved regions. Through continued collaboration and system-led implementation, Shaktishala aims to create measurable and lasting change for adolescent girls across communities.
As the financial year comes to a close, the launch of Shaktishala represents more than the beginning of a new programme — it signals the next phase of Pinkishe Foundation’s journey toward deeper systems-building, expanded outreach, and sustainable menstrual health interventions.
This milestone reinforces our continued commitment to advancing menstrual dignity, improving access to essential resources, and building healthier, more empowered communities through integrated and future-focused initiatives.
