Pinkishe Foundation is proud to announce the launch of India’s first dedicated menstrual health helpline, a powerful step forward in our mission to ensure menstrual health equity for women and girls across the country. This initiative represents a significant achievement in our ongoing efforts to provide accessible, accurate, and stigma-free menstrual health support to all communities.
The helpline operates 24/7, ensuring women and girls can access guidance whenever they need it. Currently, the service is available in four languages: Hindi, English, Telugu, and Kannada, making it inclusive and accessible to diverse linguistic communities. Through an IVR-based system, users can get reliable information on menstrual health, hygiene practices, and support for personal concerns, all in a safe and confidential manner.
This helpline expands Pinkishe Foundation’s reach beyond physical workshops and community programs, offering continuous, real-time support to women and girls, even in remote areas. By providing accurate information, challenging myths, and reducing stigma, the helpline empowers beneficiaries to manage their menstrual health with confidence, dignity, and safety.
The launch of India’s first menstrual health helpline is more than a service—it is a symbol of innovation, commitment, and progress. It demonstrates how Pinkishe Foundation continues to lead the way in menstrual health advocacy, combining technology, education, and empathy to create lasting social change. This milestone reinforces our mission to ensure that every girl and woman in India has access to the knowledge and support they deserve.
