Pinkishe Foundation proudly announces the launch of Project Kaagaz Ke Pad, an innovative initiative designed to drive menstrual health awareness and support in metro areas. This project aims to mobilize community resources and foster impactful change by partnering with Residential Welfare Associations (RWAs).
Project Kaagaz Ke Pad collaborates with RWAs in metro areas to build a robust platform for community involvement. By harnessing the collective efforts of residents, the project seeks to improve access to essential menstrual health resources for women and girls in lower socioeconomic groups.
Appointed Volunteer Leaders: Each participating RWA designates a dedicated volunteer leader responsible for driving the project's initiatives within their community. These leaders organize awareness campaigns to educate residents about menstrual health and hygiene and highlight the significance of their contributions.
Encouraging Resident Participation: Residents are invited to donate newspapers on a monthly basis. This act of generosity not only supports recycling efforts but also contributes to menstrual health initiatives by generating essential funds.
Donated newspapers are collected and sold to raise funds for menstrual health initiatives. The proceeds are directed towards supporting women and girls in lower socioeconomic groups, including domestic workers such as maids, gardeners, and cleaners. The funds help enhance their access to menstrual health resources, enabling them to manage their periods with dignity.
Project Kaagaz Ke Pad transcends traditional recycling initiatives by promoting community-driven change. By engaging metro area residents, the project cultivates a culture of awareness, support, and solidarity that bridges socioeconomic gaps and fosters a sense of community responsibility.
