Pinkishe Foundation, in partnership with the Rotaract Club of Ashoka University, recently organized a menstrual hygiene literacy session and pad distribution event at the Spread Smile Foundation Trust in Sonipat.

The session commenced with a crucial dialogue on puberty, underlining the importance of educating young girls about menstruation. By initiating open conversations about puberty and menstruation, we aim to equip girls with the necessary knowledge to navigate this natural process confidently.

Throughout the session, attendees actively participated in informative discussions concerning menstrual hygiene practices and the significance of maintaining proper sanitation during menstruation. Witnessing women unite to exchange experiences and insights fostered a supportive atmosphere conducive to learning and discussing sensitive topics.

In alignment with our dedication to menstrual health education, sanitary pads were provided to all participants. This gesture not only ensured access to essential menstrual products but also represented our collective commitment to promoting menstrual hygiene and empowering women within the community.
