Pinkishe Foundation, in collaboration with Samaritans All Around, recently conducted a transformative menstrual hygiene literacy session and pad distribution drive in Ganga Nagar, Meerut.
The session began with an engaging discussion on menstrual hygiene, where the conversation took an interesting turn when volunteers introduced the concept of three uterus openings. This revelation sparked curiosity and intrigue among the attendees, many of whom were surprised to learn that there was more than one opening, challenging their previous understanding of female anatomy.
Throughout the session, participants actively engaged in discussions about menstrual hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining proper sanitation during menstruation. As part of our dedication to menstrual health education, we provided each participant with sanitary pads during the session. This proactive step ensured that all attendees had access to essential menstrual products, reflecting our commitment to promoting menstrual hygiene and empowering women in the community.
Furthermore, this initiative served as a reminder of the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing menstrual health challenges. By coming together and providing support, we can break down barriers and create a more inclusive and supportive environment for women's health and well-being.
