At Pinkishe Foundation, we believe in the power of education to transform lives. In line with our mission to empower girls and women, we recently conducted a menstrual hygiene literacy session in collaboration with Taeid at the Government Middle School in Natipora, Srinagar.

During the session, we provided engaging presentations on the biological processes of menstruation, which included surprising facts such as the existence of three uterine openings. This revelation was shocking to many girls, who had previously believed there were only one or two openings. Additionally, we introduced them to menstrual cups as an alternative sanitary product, sparking interest and curiosity.

Our aim was not only to educate but also to empower. Through open discussions, we addressed any questions or concerns the girls had, fostering a supportive environment where they could learn and grow.

As a practical step towards ensuring menstrual hygiene for all, sanitary pads were distributed to the attendees. This initiative not only provided access to essential menstrual products but also empowered the girls to manage their periods with dignity and confidence.

Together, let's break the stigma surrounding menstruation and ensure that every girl has the knowledge and resources she needs to thrive. Join us in our mission to educate, empower, and elevate girls everywhere.
