Free Sanitary Pad Donation & Menstrual Literacy Workshop | Thanjavur | 17th July 2022

A Menstrual literacy workshop and free Sanitary pad donation camp was conducted by Pinkishe Foundation on 17th July, 2022 at Arsau Kulandaigal Illam, Membalam, Thanjavur, Tamilnadu. To make the workshop more interactive our fecilitator Prithivika shared her first period experience with the girls which made them very comfortable. She answered their queries related to personal hygiene and advised the girls to keep a period kit handy in their bags always. Girls were told to remain active during periods and not to miss the school. At the end of the workshop free sanitary pads were distributed to the girls. Such workshops help us in breaking the silence around menstruation and ending period poverty.
